David Elbert is the Partner, Vice President/General Manager of ZayMat Distributors.  ZayMat Distributors is full-service firm with over 20 years in the supply and distribution business.  ZayMat provides a wide array of industrial, construction, safety, personal protection equipment (PPE), office supplies and fuel throughout the United States.

David has successfully partnered with several top tier Supply Firms which enabled ZayMat to secure more than $30 million in contracts in a short period of time with some of the largest Construction Companies and State Agencies in the United States.  His leadership was instrumental in driving company growth by 300%.   

David is a highly qualified Executive Manager offering more than 30 years of sales management, financial management and consumer experience.  He is results-focused and has a strong business acumen with the ability to execute a wide range of sales and marketing strategies.

Prior to ZayMat, David spent almost 10 years as Vice President, Corporate Emerging Markets Manager for PNC Financial Services, the fifth largest bank in the United States.  He developed strategy and direction for the Emerging Markets segment and was responsible for exponential growth throughout the 800-retail branch network.  David spent 18 years with KeyBank National Association, as a Senior Vice President & Chief Consumer Lending Officer, Community Development Banking.  He was responsible for strategic leadership (Alaska to Maine).  David increased production from $500,000 to $6.6 million within two years and grew revenues by 200% while maintaining relatively flat expenses.  

David is a graduate of Clarion University.  He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration (Double Major; Management & Marketing).  He was an accomplished member of the Judo team.  David is in the process of obtaining his MBA from John Carroll University.  

David is currently on the Board of Trustees for the Solon Chamber of Commerce and President of the Board for the Williams Family Caregivers Foundation. He is on the Usher Board at MT Zion of Oakwood Village.  Formerly, Board of Trustees for the Epilepsy Foundation and the College Fund (UNCF).  Also, various committees including Cystic Fibrosis and Urban Bankers.  He also assists with the Lakewood Food Drive.   

David believes his mission is to help as many people as possible.  He enjoys the game of chess, golfing and playing basketball.  He resides in Solon, Ohio.
